Bambino #2 is coming this summer, which is very exciting but that also means I’m currently busting at the seams! This is the main reason I’ve been a little slow to respond to things. Thank you to all my current brides and grooms for being patient with me!
We are going to be welcoming another little boy to the Webb house and Victor couldn’t be more excited to have a little brother.
I’m changing things up this time around with what I feel I need to welcome this new bambino. The last time I had a bambino was over 4 years ago and the baby landscape, in terms of devices, has definitely changed.
I’m going to share what I’ve purchased and will share if we decide to purchase or omit things as we learn what this new little guy likes.
Baby Gear
The Nanit: I was a big fan of the Owlet with Victor, because he was an early roller and it gave me some peace of mind. The Nanit has that technology built into their cameras and tracks the baby’s sleeping patterns. I like data when it comes to figuring out a baby’s sleeping schedule so it was a high priority buy for me.
Milk Storage bags: Victor was tongue-tied so pumping was a big part of my routine early on. I’m going to do the same this time to ensure that milk production stays high! I was a big fan of these the first time around.
3. Boon Naked 2-Position Collapsible Baby Bathtub: I love this tub because it has the ability to fold up and hang in the shower. We only have 1 bathroom and really try to minimize the amount of space items in our home take up.
4. Dr. Browns Natural Flow Baby Bottles: These were the bottles our lactation specialist recommended, the first time around, and they worked out nicely so I'm definitely going to repurchase them.
`5. FridaBaby Electric NoseFrida: An electric NoseFrida! a NoseFrida is a necessity with a baby but an electric one is next level.
6. Therapy! This isn’t something I necessarily purchased but I decided it would be a good idea to have this in play this time around. I had Post Partum Depression the first time around and didn’t realize it until I was coming out of it. This time I have a 4-year-old who looks to his mama for everything. It’s important to me that I can be my best self with him and be my best self for myself through this. I think this will definitely help with supporting myself through the recovery process.
7. Delivery Meals! I haven’t purchased this just yet, but I’m still doing research. Last time I underestimated the need for a well-prepared meal ASAP after nursing. I won’t make that mistake again and will be sure to have things on hand.
Is there anything you’ve bought recently for your baby that isn’t on this list that you think is a must-have? Let me know!
